Dr.Joyce Nimmo was the person who took my case. She had emergency next day availability and didn’t judge me for my horrible teeth. I been to many other dentist who judged me or put me down for how my teeth are. She took the time to listen to me and understood my problems. The owner, Cooper Bolak, as looked at my case as well and he listened to me. I felt heard, seen, and not judged by how bad my teeth are. They are also quick to get started on a bunch of work the next day to get started on my care and easy to schedule out many future appointments at once.

Kind staff and good care. I normally go to a different location, but I needed 2 wisdom teeth removed and West Seattle happened to have an appointment available 2 days later. My experience here was great! I was pretty nervous after having an awful experience with my last wisdom teeth extraction and because I was electing just local anesthesia, but the staff were all great at making me feel very at ease. They were good listeners and multiple people checked with me to ask and understand why I was opting for local rather than general anesthesia. I couldn't say enough good things about Dr. Obenchain and the assistant who completed my surgery. What I appreciated the most is that they acknowledged that I was fully conscious during this sort of traumatic procedure by checking in with me throughout, giving clear instructions, explaining the different things they'd be doing and the tools they'd be using, and including me by telling me what was going on and even showing me pieces of my tooth as they extracted them. I really like to be involved in my healthcare, so I especially appreciated this. They gave me plenty of anesthesia so I never felt like I needed to ask for more. Communication and care after my surgery was great as well. Highly recommend this office's friendly staff and Dr. Obenchain if you're looking for a great oral surgeon. Thanks again!

Didn't address my issues at all. I knew I already had periodontal disease which requires occasional deep cleanings. But the first time I came in here, they didn't mention anything related to that and randomly told me I should remove my wisdom teeth. I went ahead with the procedure, which went fine, but there was nothing recommended after that.
I'm with a new dentist now and they found issues with my existing crown, cavities, and scheduled deep cleanings for my periodontal disease. None of this was ever brought up at dentists of west seattle. It felt like they just wanted to do an expensive procedure to get some quick cash and didn't care at all for my dental health.
Im leaving a review for them about a year after I've stopped coming, so not sure if it's still the same dentists here.
