I hadn’t had an eye appointment in years. Once I got in to see Dr. Richardson for the first time, he told me I had “the most bizarre eyes he had seen in his 45 years”. This had me very worried. He couldn’t run the necessary tests to tell me more because I have Kaiser for medical insurance and these tests were considered medical.
It took me over a month to complete the entire process of getting this recommendation faxed over and getting an appointment. Kaiser ran every eye test possible based on what Richardson suggested. No one could find a single irregularity. Several doctors asked me what it was he initially saw and I couldn’t even explain it. This was a lot of wasted money, stress, and time.
On top of that, Richardson told me he was “vaccinated and boosted” so he didn’t need to wear a mask while was very close to my face determining my prescription.
I will not be returning after over a month of thinking I had something seriously wrong with my eye for no reason at all.
