I didn't think a small independent pharmacy would be better than the big chain pharmacies in every way, but Des Moines Pharmacy is. I don't know why they can get prescriptions with national shortages and the other pharmacies can't, but they do every month. Also, the people working there are wonderful.

I have been going here for a decade and back when Jeff use to run it with the boss lady it was outstanding. It's has gone through so much in the last few years and new ownership, and I have had nothing but respect and admiration for what these guys do and how hard they work. It's still the same place we call home away from home and the service is STILL superb. They care about their customers and they love the community. It's changed from the old crew, but they still have the same love!

I have been going here for years. It's nice when you walk in, an say HI Neil, or in the past Jeff too before he retired would know your name. Neil was not Jeff's assistant, they were partners. Neil owned a pharmacy in Normandy Park, and became partners with Jeff. Now it's just Neil, but the service is still outstanding! I miss seeing Jeff, but Neil is top notch. As others have pointed out you don't feel like a number. I drive 10 miles just to go where I feel like a person. If you want a great experience just getting your prescriptions, this is the place to go.
