I personally like this campground and a nice quiet place by the river if you want to camp for a night or two. The campground is a bit open format where sites are literally next to each other and you won't like it if you like to have privacy. Ample parking and a nice day use area with beautiful views of the river. Only one vehicle is allowed per site. Trails nearby if you like to go for a walk and do some bird watching. Well maintained and clean except for when the geese are busy pooping all over, so don't forget to take a tarp. It could get really windy some days/nights, so, plan accordingly and check the weather forecast up to the last minute..

This place is a fantastic park filled with birds, beautiful trees and the soothing sounds of rushing spring melt water. You can camp in the park (tent and/or RV) for very reasonable prices and day use is FREE! There is a lot of river access for fishing and wading in. There are plenty of picnic benches well placed to enjoy the river view. Right now there are dozens of goslings and lots of geese. They are personable, but not for petting. And I saw a literal silver fish jump out of the water. In a word idyllic.

Great campground, well kept and clean area. Riverside is nice and peaceful. Good restrooms and adequate showers. Only negatives, lots of bugs at night and proximity to railroad with frequent passings and lots of horn blowing.
