The situation: it’s July 5th and the temp is 109°. My wife notifies me that the A/C is putting out warm air. We just had people over for the 4th and it worked just fine. So, dreading trying to find someone on such short notice AND on a holiday weekend, I was ready to just spend this blazing hot weekend outside in the pool. I went on Yelp (I’ll a review there as well) and sent out feelers as to when I could get my unit repaired. Lo and behold, Omar from Desert Air and Heating got back to me within 10 minutes and said he could come to my home in 2 hours!! At first I was skeptical, having only 1 review on Yelp. I came to Google and there were 11 reviews. ALL OF THE ARE RIGHT ON!

First, Omar kept in touch with me as to when he was on his way. He was here at the ETA with his son Joe as a helper. He immediately got on the roof and spent 15-20 min diagnosing the problem. He came down, we offered both of them cold water:), and showed us photos of our unit and all the readouts they took as the unit was running. He told us exactly what the problems were and what he needed to do to fix our unit. More amazingly, he had all the parts on his truck!! The entire visit took about 2 hours on this sweltering day, where the roof was easily over 120°!

Omar is such a nice man, along with his helper Joe. He’s well spoken, describes exactly what and how he diagnosed the problem, and explained why and what we can do to maintain our system. We are definitely having him do our twice a year maintenance. I highly recommend Desert Air and Heating for your HVAC needs, especially for Omar, who made us feel comfortable and relaxed during our problem. Thanks Omar and Joe!
