My mother lived at Desert Horizon for over a year. I can’t give enough praise for the excellent care she received during her stay. 100% of the staff cared for her as if she was their own mother. Communication with Angela and Kelsie was excellent. It is so comforting to have a loved on in a facility you can count on for every detail.

We were looking for a memory care facility for Mom and this was the best of all the places we checked out. It’s a warm and comfortable home. The owner Angela, is a very compassionate and experienced nurse. She and her staff were all very pleasant and helpful. The facility doesn’t feel like a facility. It just feels like a home. It’s clean and uncluttered. It doesn’t have any worrisome smells like some facilities. My Moms room was large and even had its own roll-in shower in her private bathroom. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly.

As a nurse going into this facility I find it refreshing that the residents are treated with such loving hearts. I have been in many facilities and never write reviews but this one deserves to have folks know what a great place it is. They celebrate not only the holidays but birthday's as well. The owner gives up her personal time to make sure everything runs smoothly. Not only is she caring but will have the difficult talks with family and aid them in making decisions. To top it off she is a licensed nurse and can catch problems before they become serious. Hats off to you!!
