I’m keeping my initial review (below) for transparency but updating my rating based on 3 consecutive fabulous sessions with Kelsey. It’s hard for a salon to win back a customer, but she’s done it for Dessert Society. Kelsey WAS NOT the stylist that garnered the below review and instead took me as a client AFTER the below experience. Not only does she do a fabulous job, but she’s easy to talk to and makes time in the chair fly by. I would highly recommend her.
———- I’ve seen three stylists here. Two were great and the third (and last) was pretty bad. I went in for a refresh on highlights and left with hair so over-processed; it felt like gummy straw. I ended up going to a different salon after, where they basically said it was “beyond repair” so I had to cut off eight inches (!!!). Now I have a bob…. My recommendation would be to research the stylist before booking and be sure you book with one of the experienced women.
