Really disappointed in our custom cake order. We love love the 6in raspberry swirl cheesecake they have and always order one or two for birthdays. This year my son did the ordering, was talked into an 8in for 60$ and this is what we got. I called to ask if there was a certain verbage that was supposed to have been used because this is NOT the same. Also the order was an hour late, maybe there was a shortcut taken? Maybe some confusion? It wasn't ready before it was frosted and decorated? All understandable, how do we avoid this again? Help! I was told by the first person that it should have been the same, but when the baker spoke to me she said "in large batches like the 8in, there's so much that it separates and the jelly rises to the top." 🤔😶 Ok well I guess two 6 in raspberry swirls is what we will have to order from now on? "Yes , that's what I would recommend." Great! 😐 Nice resolution. Idk what's going on there anymore. True story.
While I appreciate the reply, I believe I spoke clearly when asking for the correct verbage to avoid this again and help with clarity. I did not order this, nor did I pay for this so if you truly wish to make this right I believe you have that information. Other than that all I can say is how in the world could ANYone want to eat that-> 😒 after they have had the 6in raspberry cheesecake?! 6in or 8in you look at that and tell me how absolutely disappointed you'd be waiting for it and getting... that. Yeah, like I said we love love it. (I'd also like to add that having to continuously refer to it in terms of size just needs to stop, because that's all you ever have in the cooler up front) Thank you.
