I'm a long time local born and raised In san luis obispo. Growing up I always chose French Hospital over Sierra Vista for many reasons. One being it was very homey and personal. They cared. The staff was sweet and really listened to the patients and always made sure you were comfortable. Now there's a new owner and the whole place just feels like a cold Hospital where mean people don't care if your happy, healthy and they do the bare minimum. I recently took my daughter here. Twice in a week. She's having heart problems. She's scared. She's had go get her blood drawn and she was crying and asked them to give her a min so she could calm down (her heart was racing) the nurse ripped the thing off her arm and said "OK FINE WE DONT HAVE TO DO IT!. " And left the room. This is my daughters heart we're talking about, she NEEDED her blood drawn. When the doctor came in my daughter was crying and said she was so tired of coming there and the doc looked up straight at her with a smile and said "Well you don't have to come." SHAME ON YOU FRENCH HOSPITAL. my daughter has had a terrible Experience here and with the staff. How dare you treat anyone this way. Let alone a teen. It's disgusting the way we were treated. We will never go back. Sue Anderson do Better. This is your staff.
