If you own an NA/NB Miata, please read.
This shop will not mount a 205/50r15 tire to your 8" wide rims, they'll tell you the tires are too narrow, which is true on paper. In practice, a slightly thinner tire gives you a stiffer sidewall and better corning response / stability particularly when trail braking. I don't blame them for this, it does require a little stretch.
They also refused to put an 8" wide rim on my Miata, said "it won't fit under the stock body", neglecting the +35mm offset.
The people were kind, but I had to take my project car to Les Schwab to get my wheels installed- they had me in and out in just two hours and I liked talking to the techs about my car.
