Joy is a fabulous coach. When I feel stuck, overwhelmed, or just down for some reason I can schedule a call and she brings all the right questions and insights, with her supportive attitude and faith in me, to get me unleashed. I feel focused and empowered after our calls. I highly recommend her for any coaching need!

After working the majority of my life, I retired. Faced with a new reality, I found I had no purpose, and happiness was elusive. After six months of inertia I began my journey with Joy to see if I could rediscover myself. With her coaching and practicing new ways of looking at my relationships and situations, I have learned to make choices with an awareness of my needs. As I have become more conscious of my automatic and customary responses, I am finding what works for me in a positive way. That awareness is beginning to help me shape the rest of my life as I grow into a new, fulfilling phase where I determine who I am instead of allowing my work to define me. Life-coaching with Joy has altered my perspectives, and that has redirected my life.

For almost 3 years, Joy has supported me and helped me navigate through a variety of transitions and challenges. From the first interaction, she was professional, always organized and prepared. During sessions, Joy has a very calm, supportive demeanor, and her deep listening skills are evidenced by her ability to succinctly paraphrase my words in a thoughtful and articulate way. Her way with words is an asset to the session, helping me see things in a different light and deepening my understanding. Joy isn't timid about asking bold questions. This helps so much to trigger the deep reflection I need to help me get clarity. From that space, she pushes me for tangible action. Her subsequent followthrough makes her an excellent accountability partner. As a result, I find that the issues I work on with Joy are the ones I make true sustainable change with.
