The Disney Store is pretty standard and the employees are nice enough. We just finished the Spooky Halloween Event at the Disney Store and left disappointed. This is a free event that we thought we'd try with my 7 yr old. It wasn't what I thought it would be. First, the host was so, so. Second, the activities were a trivia game and memory game (not fun to most of the kids who ranged from 3 to 7 yrs old). Third, no candy was passed out. And finally, the promotional item you could buy as a party goer was SOLD OUT. LAME. This was not what I would have expected as a Disney event. It just wasn't "Disney Level" and felt like it was a ploy to get you into the store to buy something.

Well the Disney staff was nice and held a shirt for me when I called in for a size. Very good service. Two things that bother me tremendously about the Brea store is they don't have a fitting room, yet they sell clothes. They also block the one mirror in the store with racks of clothing. Their solution is to have someone take a photo of you with the clothes you are trying on over your clothes. I'm an adult woman who buys Disney T-shirts but we live a few miles from Disneyland and have passes. They also stopped giving bags at checkout so bring your own. I hope my new T-shirt fits!

When you call in for the show times they tell you one thing and then when you get to the store it is a completely different time. This has happened twice at Brea store. When you have kids whom are looking forward to these activities the times should match. Good job Disney!!!
