Mae altered my bridesmaid dress, and it fit perfectly. She was very accommodating when I needed to change the pickup date for my dress--so kind and easy to talk to! I have already recommended her to a friend and will definitely go back to her to have work done in the future. Thanks, Mae!!

May is my first seamstress experience in Rochester, and it was flawless. She successfully altered my bridesmaid dress (light blue chiffon ordered from Revelry) that was too small by 2 inches in the bust with less than a yard of extra material. The dress did not look altered at all, and she finished ahead of the deadline. She also altered another dress for the mother of the groom on a short notice. That alteration involved cutting of 8 layers of different fabrics at the bottom hem and her thoughtful recommendation of shortening the inner layers to reduce the risk of tripping. May was knowledgeable, patient, and quick. Cannot recommend her enough!

Beyond pleased with my experience with Divine Tailoring. May is amazing! She has been a seamstress for 40 years and it shows in her work. I used Divine Tailoring for my wedding gown alterations, my dress needed to be taken in, bustled and have the straps shortened. May did an excellent job and she re-beaded the gown by hand. You can’t even tell where she altered the dress. The dress fit perfectly and looks amazing. She was lovely to work with and she has truly mastered her craft. You will not regret choosing Divine Tailoring for alterations.
