I have a 1977 280z that I bought brand new. I have tuned the suspension so the car handles perfectly - to fit my driving style. I owned a 370NISMO, and found my '77 handled so much better that I decided to trade the NISMO and upgrade my old 280 - so it would be totally updated, yet still have that classic Z feel. Al worked with me through all the planning details and decisions. The attention to detail that I have seen in the other cars he has done gave me the confidence to entrust him with my Z. I have had others work on the car over the years and have been disappointed in the result because they either did not know or did not care about the car. I found Al always accessible and willing to answer my questions. He has provided photos of the build process so I can see (and be part of) the progress. The work is extensive, he is building a high-performance turbo charged engine, converting to Wilwood brakes, custom exhaust, converting my 4-speed to a 5-speed with a short throw shifter, custom paint with a body kit, new leather interior with all the tech upgrades and sound system, LED headlights and taillights, and installing factory A/C, plus a lot more. I will post again with photos when the car is finished.
