Really bad experience. No commitment to time! We have planned for family event because they assured that the grooming will be done in 2-3 hours and we dropped our dog at the right time. And they took 6 hours.

I'm a little shocked at the pricing for my service yesterday. My dog was groomed elsewhere on Saturday at another business that didn't finish his groom due to his collapsing trachea. I called Dog Day 2 Sunday morning and they said they could fit him in just to do his face, tail and paws which had not been done on Saturday. My dog was bathed, shaved and had his nails trimmed at the other place on Saturday. When I dropped him off at 1 the associate told me the groomer would be in soon and would give me a call to go over what I needed done. Around 2pm someone called to tell me my dog was ready to be picked up. When I arrived to pick him up I was told it was $75. I said "for just his face, tail and paws?" The associate said "and the bath and nails." I said "he didn't get any of that done here, this was just his face, paws and tail." The associate goes "oh that is weird let me ask the groomer why it is still $75." She then shouted back to the groomer to ask why it was still $75. Someone else brought my dog to me from the groomer and said "yeah she said it's still $75." I paid it because I wasn't going to argue with the 2 girls at the front desk just trying to do their jobs, but I'm actually shocked. I paid this business for services they did not even provide. I was super happy to get him in last minute and find someone who could fix him, and planned to tip, but after being told I was paying full price for 1/4 of the work I couldn't bring myself to tip them. The gal at the front desk was super helpful while I made my appointment and when I checked my dog in.

this place is excellent! I brought my dog here for a self-service dog bath once and it was a remarkably great experience! The staff is super friendly and exceptionally helpful.
