Customer service was nasty. I'm a police officer and a manager told one of his employees to watch me cause he feel i might steal. That really upset me and my wife cause we had our baby girl with us and she heard that.

The place is clean all the employee are nice but 4 starts because I went in without a mask as soon as I walked in the girl told me I had to wear a mask and she sold them for 1 dollar I was in a hurry I got in line and she kept telling and even yelling at the customers to put up their mask if they were showing their mouth or nose. I bought the mask and then started walking around the store looking for some hair stuff and I notice none of her coworkers were using the mask properly some just had it for looks cuz they had it covering the chin I took a few a pic and told her it was unfair they she had us customers using the mask and demanding for us to use properly and have pay for it. She said that was a policy and can't believe they can even follow their store policies.

The staff are so nice! I am disabled and I could carry all my food home and a check out clerk named Lorraine helped me take my food home and once I was short on cash a little over five dollars and the manager paid it for me! When I went back to pay her back she didn't want it! This is the best dollar general in all of Bakersfield, ca.
