I have been going to this Dollar Tree location since it opened. I loved the size of the store as much as I loved the stock, which is why I made it my go to location. Unfortunately, one bad experience can change all that. I love Dollar tree for the craft section and love the crafts for every holiday. In October I had some left over craft merchandise that I didn't used and went to make exchanges at this location. The cashier told me they were not accepting any exchanges due to Covid-19. I understood that but I asked about the seasonal merchandise, if I would be able to return that whenever that policy lifted? She asked a person in charge that day and they said I would be able to make the exchange when they start to take exchanges, just save the receipt. So I did. Today I was at that same location and I asked if they were taking any exchanges yet. The cashier said yes but not seasonal items. I told her what I was told back in October. She apologized but said they couldn't take back any seasonal items. I told her that is not fair. So she called the Manager/Supervisor. He didn't seem to care to hear what I was told. He just rudely shrugged me off and said that has never been their policy then walked away. No apology. When I tried to explain what I was told from their cashier back in October he insisted that I DID NOT hear that from anyone in that store. I understand with Covid-19 there are so many changes that can cause confusion, misunderstanding, and miscommunication. But, accusing a paying customer of making it up and giving an attitude. Sorry, but no. I will take my business to a different location with better customer service.

This store has great potential the customer service is outstanding. The store is very clean and there is always a huge variety of items at great prices. The only negative thing is the store manager he is a very nasty man I have seen him not only talk down to his employees but to customers as well. This is not the way you run a store. No matter what the customer is always right and this guy in no shape or form should be in charge of the store.

Big store, empty shelves, and employee at the register didn't represent Dollar Tree customer service policy. I really hope he was not the manager.
No greeting, no smile, just scanned my items, put them in a bag, told me the total, gave me my change plus bag, and that was it.
Where has Customer Service Gone? Now I see why so many people order online
