Paid $760 for a Genie 2028B Opener installed (after using a 10% off coupon). The opener goes for $199.00 online and comes with additional openers and stuff... So I paid over $500.00 for an install that took maybe an hour. The install is requiring a second trip out because the door is not closing all the way and is slightly open at the top.
My fault. Trusted what seems to be a good reputation and did no research before I was paying a huge bill for a base model product with no bells and whistles... Dealing with taking time out of my busy day for a return trip.
Tech was nice. Seemed to do clean work. Setting the second trip out was fine. Much less friendly than they were when I set up the first call.
I wish I would have done research. YOU WILL LIKELY FIND A HUGE SAVINGS DOING YOUR RESEARCH.
