Woof-some! is what I imagine our dog would describe the park =)
Brought our pooch here to have access to a clean beach, plenty of open beach space to run and explore, and the friendliest pooches our dog has encountered.
A bit of drive for non-islanders, limited parking, a few picnic tables and benches, fresh water for rinsing and drinking, poop bags and waste receptacles and several porta potties are the park amenities.
Very nice dance beach with lots of driftwood around. Dogs everywhere most on a leash not all. Porta WCs and plenty of trash bins. Nice place on a nice weather day. Not much parking, so you might be on the road side. Southern view of the city. Water is very shallow but cold. Lots of seaweed around.
Few benches and tables so bring your own. No fresh water bring that too.
