This hotel is convenient to the airport, has a decent restaurant with attentive staff, and a mini-convenience store on site. However, the customer service, especially from the front desk (Christian, I am talking about you). When I entered the hotel I was not acknowledged and when I went to check in there was no greeting, no information given about the hotel (wifi, breakfast, etc.). I wasn’t even offered a cookie. Christian seemed irritated that he had to halt his conversation with the female receptionist about how awful his relationship is with his siblings. There is absolutely no reason to have this employee in a customer facing position.|After this dismal check in experience, I got on the one working elevator available. It stopped at the 2nd floor and a cleaning staff member barreled into the elevator backwards, pulling a laundry bin. I had to physically stop him from running me over. Customers don’t seem to be a high priority here. There are so many other hotels to choose from for SFO. I don’t recommend this one.

We reserved a beautiful room with a nice walk in shower and a comfortable bed. The sheets and mattress were very comfortable and the pillows felt very high-end. The drapes held out the morning light and the bathroom was immaculate. The water pressure could have been a little stronger, but definately not a deal breaker.
We picked this hotel because we had an early morning flight and it offered a shuttle to the airport. This allowed us to turn our rental car in one day sooner.
I would definately stay there again.

Wish I could write two separate reviews—one for the functionality as a hotel, and another as an event venue. The hotel aspect gets 5 stars! Great rooms, fantastic on-site restaurant, always nice to get water and a warm cookie upon arrival. As an event venue, not so much. Co-hosted a presentation that required A/V setup; the single staff member assisting us was unaware of this and had to bring in a projector from somewhere else in the hotel and spent a long time trying to figure out how to work it, the microphone had feeback, and the staff member was overall not very attentive to our needs otherwise.
