Campground near the river and Dougan Falls. Free with WA Discovery Pass. Looked to be about 8 sites. Didn’t camp here but hung out nearby with my feet in the river and read for a little! Did not meet the camp host but they had quite the setup - I’m sure they have a story or two to share.

A little gem not far from the city. Free, fcfs camping with your discover pass. Open year round! Camp host, Ed, was incredibly welcoming and friendly . Several bathrooms on site, the one we used was well maintained. Mid fall , only one other campsite was occupied. Summer is nearly impossible to get a spot, but well worth trying. We will be back as much as possible!!

Tried camping here last weekend and left instantly. Each site was packed. Looked like people were partying or living there like 15 people per site and an off lead pittbull ran in front of our car while looking for a spot. Waste of an hour drive. This site needs a host! People are taking advantage.
