Nice spot to eat. It did seem a little loud but over all pretty nice.
We all had salads and all were delicious. The desert was great.

A fantastic place for a nicer date, with wonderful food while supporting eating locally . Me’laylee -Issa was a wonderful server who knows how to make you feel comfortable and informed . Those beignets were the best I’ve ever had.

I wish the food tasted as good as it looked. Unfortunately the only thing that tasted decent were the beignets, however be mindful that while they were good, they were not authentic tasting. The dish I got I believe it was called capiccio- it was seafood in a tomato based broth. The seafood didn't taste all that fresh, the broth tasted a little off. The best part about the dish was the parmesan bread that came with it. My daughter and I both got this dish and had much the same feedback about it. It tasted like the broth was poured over seafood that was heated up in the same liquid it may have been frozen in and not rinsed off or removed from the seafood before the broth was poured. My friend got the seafood linguine (can't remember the specific name on the menu), but the sauce clearly had butter in it that had been pretty badly burned. All you could really taste was the burnt butter. And her daughter got a club wrap... She asked for no tomatoes, but they put tomatoes. She did say that had they not put tomatoes it would have been good. She tried picking them out and the wrap ended up falling apart, so she didn't really get to enjoy it. I will say though, that we all enjoyed the appetizers- fried calamari and crispy brussel sprouts. This was my birthday dinner, so it ended up being a little extra disappointing. I remember when Downriver opened years ago and how good it was then. Wonder what happened?
