As a single woman with an old car, I needed a Dave in my life. Dave and his helpers have been caring for my car since 2004, and it runs like a good car should. They have maintained and replaced tires, battery, radiators, belts, headlight, taillights and just now brakes and never overcharged or neglected what was needed. I highly recommend Downtown Auto Care in Beaumont to everyone. Dave's the best.

I watched the owner treat a woman like %#$@!! There was all this religious christian decor in the office yet he was rude to the woman. I watched the owner act cordial toward several men but he clearly hates women and it's sad! I will never again take my car to this shop. Sadly, there are too many so called "christian" men who act superior toward woman and a whole lot of them are abusive to their wife. (I'm a psychologist who works with men who feel inferior to women and therefore treat them like #@%&$. If you're a woman, DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP! THERE ARE OTHER AUTO SHOPS WHO WILL TREAT YOU WITH THE RESPECT YOU DESERVE.

My sister and I were on a road trip and about to drive out into the desert when our car started overheating for seemingly no reason. Dave took a look at it right away. He suggested a restaurant for breakfast while we waited. He called a couple of hours later letting us know he fixed the problem and that he would feel comfortable sending his own daughters out on the road. Extremely good service, fast, reliable, and kind workers.
