Doyle Automotive is fantastic, top to bottom. I went there originally to service an old pickup (1991 F250). They listened when I told them my priorities and helped establish a “to do” list on the vehicle. I never felt they were pushing a service or repair I didn’t need. Instead, I felt they were very candid about the issues they discovered and whether it was a safety issue that needed attention or could be put off. We took care of the highest priorities and I was shocked: Not only was their estimate lower than I expected, they came in significantly under the quote.
Since then, they’ve serviced our Sunday driver, a ‘91 Lexus , our family driver, a 2011 Toyota Sienna, and my daily commuter, a 2010 Scion xB. Same story over and over—great work, great service, great price.
One example: We heard a noise in the Toyota that was hard to describe. Told John about it and they went to work on a diagnosis. It was hard to replicate after a day in the shop, though, so I went on a drive with the mechanic (wish I could remember his name!). He sat in the back and in the end, figured out that we had a wheel bearing starting to fail, which was a pretty subtle thing to notice. They made the repair very reasonably (it’s an expensive part on an all-wheel drive car) and it was exactly right. Point of the story: They listened to me and never once suggested we were wrong. When they were uncertain, they came back to us asking for clarification and worked with us to pinpoint the issue, which wasn’t at all obvious.
Finally, it’s a great team there, from John at the front of the house to Annette in billing (hope I got that right), to the very skilled guys in the back doing the repairs.
I’m thrilled to finally have a reliable, trusted mechanic in my neighborhood. I’m done with the dealership and can’t say enough about these guys.
