Absolutely awful. I had to go to a dermatologist and have the dermatologist call Dr. Rico to confirm that the eye drops he prescribed me I was having a hypersensitivity to. When I repeatedly tried to tell Dr. Rico the red rashy and dry skin patches appearing on my eyelid, nose and neck were a reaction to the eye drops he told me, "No, it's not. As you older your skin gets dry." The dermatologist confirmed it wasn't aging dry skin. He had a pompous attitude which got in the way of listening to my symptoms and truly being able to help me. I finally went somewhere else where they gave me laser surgery for my glaucoma and now I don't have to take any eyedrops at all!!! I recommend you STAY AWAY from this guy. He doesn't have a "heart" to help anyone. He doesn't desire to get you better. I wasted 3 months trying to work with him and give him the benefit of doubt because he was supposed to be an educated eye doctor. Obviously, he's not. Don't even waste your time and money going to him. If you are currently seeing him, you might want to get a 2nd opinion. The 2nd opinion might make you pleasantly surprised.

Dr Rico has been my eye care provider for more than 5 yrs. He is professional and very practical with my care plan. He isn't jocular and I am ok with that. I want my health care pros to be just that PROs.
