Dr. Goldberg is an excellent surgeon and brilliant Doctor. Additionally, he is a caring person with a great sense of humor.
Highly recommend him!
My son was concerned about a growth in his throat as well as ongoing difficulty with tonsil stones - our GP advised him to see a specialist. I researched doctors and saw that Dr Goldberg of the UC Med Otolaryngology was held in high acclaim - so I called to make an appointment. That was more than two weeks ago.... I have never had such an absurd experience with a doctor's office. First I was told to send our GP's notes and referral - his office did so... then I was told that wasn't sufficient - they need his clinical notes (?) my son went to our GP in person and got a referral "prescription" and order to see Dr. Goldberg as a specialist. I faxed it to Dr. Goldberg's office. Nothing. I called> Was told that "Minh" was in charge of making appointments and he would call me. I left my cell, my son's cell, and my email address. Nothing. I called again and left a message for Minh.... nothing. So - I called Dr. Gerald Kangelaris at San Francisco Otolaryngology - spoke directly to a lovely woman who scheduled an appointment for two days later; my son had a terrific meeting with Dr. Kangelaris - and I only wish I had read the yelp reports prior to calling Dr Goldberg's office!!! Dr. Kangelaris has straight five stars - and UC Med...outraged patients... so obviously this is an ongoing culture of their office. How shameful.
