This doctor's office is the rudest office I have ever encountered. Since I have HMO insurance on my second visit I was scolded by the office manager at the front desk for not getting approval from my insurance company prior to my coming to the office on my scheduled appt. I was under treatment or diagnosed with sleep apnea and being monitored for 6 months by Dr an Insurance while first using the CPAC Machine. I had no idea that it was my responsibility to get approval prior from the insurance company before every visit. I was already approved by insurance through an HMO referral. When I visit the dermatologist after an approved referral, the visits and referrals are good for a year. Why would this office be different? And if it was my responsibility, shouldn't they have checked with me when confirming my appt? I spoke to Dr. Galko about it and she was rude to me after I told her that the office manager scolded me in front of other patients. I also mentioned to one of the staff that was prepping me before seeing Dr Galko and she told me that the office manager was terrible and her last day was at the end of the week. I never went back and returned the CPAC machine. I have found a new doctor and have no issues. Not sure how this dr received a 5-star rating.

When I spoke with Dr. Galko, she had familiarized herself with all of my documents, and had a good understanding of my case. When she asked questions, she listened to me without interruption and thoroughly answered my questions. She had several recommendations and explained the reasoning behind each one. I feel very confident in her care and am pleased to have found her.
