This place is absolutely awful, look elsewhere and save yourself the headache. Dr. Louis has her days where she is nice enough and others where it's evident she could care less. There is no consistency of quality care here. Most alarming is that Dr. Louis has given me false and misleading information multiple times. When I cross referenced her guidance with reliable online sources and family friends who are doctors, they confirmed she was completely off base with all of her recommendations and advised against listening to her. So much so that multiple people recommended I look elsewhere for better care, which thankfully I've been able to do. It's not safe for Dr. Louis to provide medical care when the information provided is factually incorrect.
The front desk staff is rude and dismissive, on the phone or in person. It's rare to get ahold of the front desk, as they appear to be constantly swamped. Some of the nurses are actually fine, but it's hit or miss.
Additionally, Billing is impossible to get ahold of. The woman assigned to this location (Mary) works 1 day/week (Thurs). Mary is probably the only nice person I met during my time with Gateway - she's just difficult to reach. I called the number on my physical, paper bill to inquire about a charge (because Mary is hard to reach) and the woman who answered (Angela) hung up on me when I was asking about my bill... I was shocked. It was extremely unprofessional, but given my experience with Gateway, I can't say I'm surprised.
Across the board, the bedside manner and level of care here is subpar. The only reason I went here in the first place is because there were no other doctors accepting new patients at the time I needed a check-up...I now see why.
Lastly, they took over 6 weeks to simply send my medical records to my new doctor. I had to call them 4 times to ask about the status/confirm the transfer. It wasn't until the 4th try that someone actually transferred the files to my new doctor.
This place makes you feel unwelcome and uncared for, whether it's over the phone or in-person. Don't make the mistake I did and save yourself the discomfort - go elsewhere if your insurance allows. I hope this review saves someone the poor medical care and experience you'll inevitably have.
