I have done a thorough search for possible surgeons for my complicated surgery and plastic reconstruction, but after the initial meeting with Dr. Carey my choice for him was clear. I very much valued his detailed explanation about the plastic surgery procedure. Dr. Carey’s approach to a patient is like one of belonging to his family. His professionalism became important even after the successful surgery when he guided me through recovery. I can only highly recommend him.
I couldn't recommend Dr. Carey more highly! My injury was highly complicated and unusual. Dr. Carey was the only doctor who accurately assessed the direness of the situation and was confident he could fix it. Without him, I am convinced I would have lost my leg. On top of that, his bedside manner and that of his entire team is exceptional. No surgeon's ego. I immediately felt comfortable and confident in his care. He even went so far to call me at home to follow up on an appointment he had to cut short due to an emergency surgery. You won't find a better plastic surgeon.
