After Bronchitis was unresolved for two weeks on broad spectrum antibiotics, we asked for a new medication for our 14 year old. He seemed put off, and instead insisted he take the remaining 3 days of a 10 day course. Which we were already doing. So when he literally tried to rush him off the phone, and blow off all of his concerns (Shortness of breath, extreme fatigue, rattling in his chest, missing school etc.) I asked for a clarification x-ray to make sure he wasn't developing anything further, or that he wasn't misdiagnosed. I nursed for a long time, it happens a lot. He was audibly annoyed, and then left extremely unprofessional comments on the imaging orders. He basically called my son a liar, and said the patient is obviously fine and sounded normal (during our 3 min Convo which he coughed throughout). Doc verbatim stated no shortness of breathe, cough, nothing. Blatant lying. I would give 0 stars if I could. Telehealth is no excuse for lack of quality care.
