Dr. Kallas is beyond insensitive with children. She saw my daughter at MaryBridge Pediatrics Urgent Care. My daughter had blood in her urine, painful urination, and is on a medecine for a hernia that can cause kidney problems.
My daughters mask fell below her nose. Dr. Kallas physically forced her mask on her face, pinched it on her nose, pulled it down and stretched it across her face, while lecturing her on how to properly wear a mask. Then, told my daughter to lie down and take her mask off, but not to talk.
Dr.Kallas encouraged me to take my daughter home for a urine test, and physically backed away when we talked to her. When she finally left the room my daughter asked if we could please go home she was so uncomfortable.
I was also extremely uncomfortable. I took my daughter home still not knowing what is wrong. She was so harsh I will never bring my kids near her again… I cannot believe she works with children and has such terrible bedside manner.
