First of all: DD is the universe's gift to modern society. I'm so grateful to now have THREE amazing locations in Bakersfield but Cherisek (I think I spelled her name correctly) was absolutely amazing today. I rarely order outside of my "usual" and if I do, I NEVER order more than ONE new item in the same order. I was pretty frazzled this morning and in a rush but I wanted to try something new so I asked Cherisek her opinion on the new breakfast empanada and she gave me her honest, thorough feedback so I decided to take it. I also asked her how she felt about the the sparkd' energy drink. She gave her honest opinion, I decided against it but here's the awesome thing: SHE PROVIDED alternative suggestions such as the energy punch. I'm so glad she did because I really enjoyed it.
Cherisek didn't need the time to be supportive and exchange a full conversation about the menu but she did. That is the definition of excellent guest experience. Everyone behind the counter worked hard at getting things moving and moving fast, especially since the drive thru line was long! I fully appreciate the professionalism of the team.
