UPDATE I added a picture showing the bike after adding a gigantic 52v 28Ah triangle battery pack from UPP, an Eggrider display, and Continental Contact Plus City tires. The bike now has a range of about 60 miles and feels rock solid. Same 750 watt motor, same wheels and frame, etc. I think I've have it now for more than 7 years and it's still amazing. This bike from BM is one of the best purchases I've ever made by far.
If you have a Bafang motor definitely check out the Eggrider display. It boots up in a few seconds and you can use your phone to change settings, view speed, etc.
ORIGINAL I purchased an ebike from BM about 5.5 years ago. The ebike market has grown considerably since then. The more I learn about ebikes, and the longer I own the one I have, the more I appreciate BM. They assembled an absolutely bomb proof bike for me that still feels very solid after five plus years and thousands of miles. I've only performed basic maintenance. The battery still holds about 85% (I haven't calculated precisely) of its charge and the 8fun motor still works perfectly. I feel very confident riding it at full speed, mostly through urban landscapes but also on hard packed trails. I am 6'2" and 265 lbs by the way and commonly lug 15 plus pounds of groceries and gear. The bike weighs in at just under 50 lbs with the battery which is incredible given it's size and solid build. I get so many compliments for how cool the bike looks.
I also continue to appreciate how nice it was to work with them as a business. It was built to order but still managed to arrive on the other side of the country within about 14 days as I recall. I had questions and they always promptly answered them by phone and email. I absolutely love my bike and still get excited every time I ride it. They're the kind of business I think we all want to support. Profesional, friendly, knowledgeable and they make stellar products.
