Employees are pretty fast and helpful, and individuals who are there to recycle are also helpful and will happily lend you a hand.. I arrived 15 minutes till close and was trying to strip an alloy ladder of its (dirty parts) •plastics, screws, rubbers, etc.... using pliers and a pry bar.. and a gentleman just walks up w a Sawzall and offers to cut it up.. then a worker threw everything onto a cart and rolled it onto the weight station... 3 minutes later, I was cash in hand, walking out of there..
*the prices fluctuate from time to time, but I hear this spot pays you fairly..
I will definitely be returning anytime I come across some recyclables
Best service and prices I've gotten. The scrap yard just do an the street ripped me off for at least $1500 in lower scrap price. Wish I had gone here first. Very satisfied.
To those complaining about this business and transients, please find something better to do while at home because of Covid. Seriously what are they supposed to do, refuse service to the homeless or people are do not fit your perception of acceptable? That would be discrimination and against the law. Its not their job to police the homeless or so anything that is outside of the sphere its businesses pertains to. Especially not what you are complaining about. Go volunteer and build some shelters for the homeless. Even better house one for six months till they get a job and are able to afford their own place. If everyone that could, given the right conditions, afford to house and feed just one homeless person, the rate of homelessness would be cut by at least 50%. Go do something useful and leave this business alone. Plus we already know you are just trying to build another 3 -4 story apartments, condos, or town homes. Either you are in with or are the developer or you stand to benefit from higher property values. So do not act like you care about the greater good. ✌️
