Traditional funeral services are expensive and they include too many parts. The event of having to pick out a coffin or an urn to eventually be placed in is a very surreal experience. There are multiple designs and features to pick out but at the end of the day, it’s all going into the ground to hopefully never be seen again. The cremation process seems a little less involved but you still need to pick out a $1k or more urn. It’s all seemed too wasteful to me.
When I heard about Earth and the services they provide, it was like a spa before eternal rest. Wildflowers and a shroud? Sounds perfect. Family can take some of your soil in a small compostable bin? Love that it’s waste-free! Trees get planted in my honor AND we get to help with reforestation? Literally sign me up.
Everything about Earth has been out of a dream. The services are exactly what I’ve always looked for in a pre-arranged funeral service, the website was incredibly easy to navigate, and the customer service during the tour was top tier. Shoutout to Roe for being the most incredible representative at the Nevada location. If you’re thinking about checking it out or you’re even a little curious, I would say it is definitely worth the time to visit or speak with a representative. They are so patient and kind, so you definitely won’t regret it!
