We started working with Tami when our daughter was 18 months old. She helped guide our efforts to improve our daughter’s speech and provided a number of helpful resources. While the process was somewhat difficult when we needed to do virtual sessions (that COVID restrictions sometimes imposed) we nonetheless made progress and our daughter is off to the next level. The resources and guidance obtained continue to be useful to us in working with our daughter.

Tami is wonderful. We brought our 4 year old to see her for pronunciation help and each week we were seeing improvements and over time we have reached mastery in sounds that were so hard to make at first. My child used the “T” sound for “F”, so “fire” sounded like “tire”. Tami used play-based sessions to meet my child where he was, and model/teach the correct sounds and it stuck. My child always looked forward to his speech sessions and even practiced (on his own!) the things she would go over with him in their session. We highly recommend her!

Tami Losev has been my son’s speech therapist for the past seven months and we have seen significant progress with his speech during this time. My 4-year-old son struggles with a speech delay due to autism, and Tami has been successful in holding his interest and in getting him to verbally respond with short sentences. My son looks forward to his sessions with Tami because she has a great sense of humor, she is patient, and she brings along a big bag of toys that he loves to play with. She has taught my son the foundations of language and conversation. She has also taught us how to utilize visual prompts to help encourage verbalization and transitions. I would definitely recommend her.
