As many people pointed out, for the price you pay for, it doesn’t really meet your expectations.
I like the yard and foyer a lot, and the room was quite clean. Also, the location is perfect for the University of California visitors.
However, the beds were terrible, and there’s no front desk so I had to call for housekeeping and assistance.

I hosted an event here and it was a huge success! Not only were staff helpful and communicative through the entire process (booking the event and planning, the event itself, and follow-up afterwards) but the place is beautiful too! It is in a great location in the East Bay and easy to get to along with parking. Not to mention it's super close to campus!

Easton Hall Conference Center on the campus of the Church Divinity School of the Pacific offers affordable private guest rooms in Easton and Gibbs Halls. Located in the heart of Berkeley's "Holy Hill", the conference center is easy walking distance from UC Berkeley. On our recent stay we were delighted with our rooms in Easton Hall. Guests enjoy use of the beautiful historic building's kitchen, complimentary coffee, a lounge area downstairs and outdoor seating in a beautiful, quiet garden. Our rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable, with private bathrooms and beautiful views. The door to the hall is locked 24/7 - take a photo of the access code in your welcome packet when you check in so you don't get locked out. Rooms do not have televisions but free Wi-Fi is provided. You need to use stairs to access the halls and rooms from the parking lot, so it may not be an ideal fit for guests with mobility issues. The conference center is charmingly retro and you may have to walk around as we did to find where you check in at the Parsons Hall Welcome Center. Note that check in is between 1 pm and 5 pm. Secure free parking is provided but you will need to check in first to receive the access code for the gate. There is a key drop box in the main hall when you check out in the morning. This is a great base camp where you can park once then easily walk, car share and use mass transit to all of Berkeley's attractions and to San Francisco.
