Update- There are some settings on this hot tub that my electrician missed when switching from 110 to 220, so now it does stay hot, and I am really pleased with this hot tub. Just beware that if you hook it up to 110 it will not stay hot.
I ordered an ecospa a few months ago and it does not stay hot when you are in it. I have had several hot tubs and can sit in the hot tub for over an hour without the temperature dropping much. In fact, I could heat them up while I'm in it. This will drop from 104 to 97 in an hour or so. I was told by the ECO Spa rep it was because it was a 110 volt, so I paid $500 to upgrade it to a 220 and it still drops in temperature. It makes me very sad... because otherwise I like this hot tub. I especially like the hard cover.
So I really enjoy my hot tub. It’s super clean and easy to use. It could look a little more fancier to my taste but it’s functionality beats any other hot tubs out there (after having multiple jacuzzis and fixing them every year). I love the simple maintenance eco spa requires and it’s always ready for me to use. The lid keeps the water always hot and sparkly clean so I don’t need to use harsh chemicals. The clamps can be easier to maneuver but it keeps a tight seal over the whole unit. Would definitely recommend to all of my family and friends.
