I do not go in to pawn shops to sell things. I like shopping there. They get items cheap and usually sell them at a discounted and reasonable price. I have found some great deals in pawn shops over the years, but not at Ed &Moe's.
The point I want to Express, is that if I walk in here like I did today with a pocket full of cash trying to buy something and get treated like garbage.
How bad are they going to treat somebody who has nothing in their pocket and is just trying to get enough money to pay their bills??Screw this place!!
Recently I went into Ed and Mo's to look at some musical instruments.
I saw one in particular with a price that seemed kind of high so I asked if there was any room for negotiation on the price. (It is common practice to negotiate prices in Pawn shops)
To me, that is a yes or no question.
I immediately got treated like garbage for asking, which would be fine, Except for they never answered the question and just continued to be jerks instead of saying yes or no?! OK. I have better things to do with my time, Have a nice day.
So I took my pocket full of cash next door to Ace. Pawn shop, where I have always been treated with respect and found great deals. I do not recommend Ed and Mo's.
