This water park is a great place to bring your kids and have a picnic or a birthday. It is awesome for family gatherings and to enjoy a day with your children, btw it is free! I do recommend it

We saw live band play on a Sunday afternoon , very well attended, Criminal Squirrel orchestra . Thank you city of Edmonds for bringing music to a park . The band was good and very family friendly but I guess the playground is too much of a draw , only 3 little kids near the band. Sadly nobody dances anymore ,, I remember when people used to dance up front now everyone has a lawn chair .

This park is F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S.
If you are looking for a safe, engaging, let the kiddo run free place accessible by car or public transport (bus, train, ferry) then this place is it.
Let me enumerate the positives;
- Street parking and two parking lots with plenty of space.
- New playground equipment for toddlers to even teeners (see pics)
- Fun water spray feature (seasonal)
- Numerous picnic tables and shelters (with fire pits and grills)
- Benches and concrete barriers as seating option and ledges for the kids
- Clean, accessible restrooms
- Occasional train and ferry horns
- Quick walk to main street for coffee, meals and other dining options
- Free from dog poop and used needles!
- Drinking fountain on site.
Negatives;

Tips:
- Shelter #3 is closest to restrooms, the water spray and playground equipments
- Shelter #1 and 2 are closest to the parking lots
- All shelters have their own water faucet and sink, plus electrical outlets. Reservation required (see pics)
- Open air picnic tables require no reservation, with several clustered around a fire pit.
- Have a picnic!
