El Pulgarcito is a gem! We tried a few of their pupusas, breakfast plate, and agua de maracuya. Everything was delicious and had good sazon. It'll be our go-to spot whenever we visit family in the area. The staff was friendly and the dishes arrived within a reasonable amount of time considering it's made to order. If you're looking for authentic Salvadoran food make sure you visit this restaurant!

Absolutely best cheese pupusas I ever had! No reheated, frozen stuff.. freshly made! There is indoor eating and I got my car washed while eating my meal. Great service, definitely a hidden gem here in Bakersfield. Would definitely recommend!

I tried this place based on a recommendation of a friend and let me say I was not disappointed! I got the pupusas one of shrimp and the other of queso with chicharron and they were both delicious. It was the perfect ratio of masa to filling. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for delicious pupusas in bakersfield.
