I have had my fair share of authentic Mexican restaurants across the country and El Rancho is a Ridgefield gem.
My friends and I have been going to El Rancho since we were in middle school, so its been just over 14 years. Having grown up in Ridgefield, I'm glad that this place is still here. The food is great and the staff is great. If I happen to show up and Roberto is there, he always makes time to check in and catch up with us. Now, being from Ridgefield I of course am going to be biased about El Rancho, but with that being said, there's reasons why I still come back.
The food is great, the house made salsa is really good. Not too spicy but has the right amount of kick, we go through our fair share of it. its fresh and goes perfectly with any margarita. Typically I get the Carne Asada plate, for the price and the quantity alone its worth it, but for it to taste excellent brings it full circle.
This is a fantastic place to eat at. If you can, support local and definitely support El Rancho.
Inexpensive food with huge margaritas including blackberry margaritas. The food is comfy and filling - not fancy. Great for the entire family. Free chips snd red and green salsa.
Go hungry…and thirsty 😊
