Wow! Everything from the quality, to the portions, to the cost is absolutely exceptional. We got a quesadilla and two burritos, one steak and one carnitas. Their carnitas are phenomenal, juicy but crispy as well. Definitely what I would recommend. This is an absolute hidden treasure that you need to check out if you are in the area.

The classic hole-in-the-wall local fast food restaurant where the food is absolutely delicious, the serving size more than enough for the price, the service is quick, and the rest hardly matters.
El Ray is based out of a Shell station, and before that, a different Shell station. You can order from an inside window or a drive-through. There are technically a few tables outside in the grass for sunnier days.

Burritos were ok. Meat a little chewy, but good. Tamales were good. It's in a gas station so don't expect a war atmosphere.
