Two cars waiting when I arrived. All three chargers are working. I’m using the charger furthest from the bank. For the first 10mins my EV6 is pulling 79kw (26% SOC) and another EV6 is plugged in closest to the bank and is pulling 120kw. A Niro is plugged into the middle charger.
15 minutes in I’m now pulling 130kw.
Speed is still quite a bit below the advertised 350kw. I’ve seen worse rates and I’ve seen much better. I’d come again.
This electrify America charging station has pitiful few chargers. It exemplifies California's abysmal infrastructure for electric vehicle charging. That said, tonight, for the first time ever, there was actually a charger available when I arrived.
But sitting in your car at this charging station means risking robbery or smashing grab. Lights are dim and the neighborhood is bad. Add to that you're in the parking lot of a bank sitting in a high value ev. The chance of being shot is probably more than 50%.
