This owner hates Groupon customers but is apparently using the platform just to lure customers!
I TOLD this rude owner that I bought the service through Groupon. He went ahead and did the service but later insisted that I never told him it was through Groupon. Seriously? He never gave me an estimate or anything. If what he insisted was right (that I didn't tell him,) why he didn't give me an estimate in the first place? Do you start a service even without a consent from a customer about a charge? That doesn't make sense. And I 100% told him it was through Groupon, as I didn't want to pay again.
He also suggested me a $400 additional service, which I'm not sure if it's necessary.
Also, he insisted my Honda Fit was a foreign car so I had to pay the difference of $35.
The services were either: "Two-Wheel Alignment for US-Made Car, Light Truck, or Light SUV" or
"Four-Wheel Alignment for Higher-End or European Car, Light Truck, or Light SUV"
Is Honda Fit considered a Higher-End or European car and should I choose the second one??
His customer service is terrible, by insisting that I never told him it's from Groupon and charged me additional $35.
Overall, worst experience ever and this place is really not trustworthy.
I should have known when I walked in that there were problems, because there was a lady yelling at them as I walked in, because they overcharged her for oil. They tried to say that my oil filter needed replacing, and that it was on too tight, and that they would break it taking it off. They said I needed a different filter. So what if the filter was stuck? That doesn’t mean I need a different kind of more expensive filter. I stood up to them for trying to lie, and say I needed a new filter that wasn’t plastic. I called them out on trying to upsell me something extra. A loudmouth Karen that was a customer started acting like she worked there, and thought she could mouth off to me. That was cute. I videotaped most of her (couldn’t fit her in the entire screen) rant. When I began videotaping the crazy lady trying to tell me that I should just let myself get ripped off, they told me they wouldn’t render service AFTER they had already redeemed my Groupon.
I called the cops, and they were VERY sympathetic. The one told me he would never have brought his car there, because look at how the place is run. He even mentioned their ratings, and asked why would I bring my hybrid in there? He said, sometimes it’s worth it to not use Groupon. Then we had a chuckle about the nutball customer inside who thought she worked there.
Avoid this place. Spend more on getting your oil changed if you have a nice car.
