We had a group of 25 set to have lunch in Stevenson this past week. The restaurant we were going to had to cancel our reservation last minute because the hood vents were not working.
The manager of that restaurant called around to other local restaurants, and August, the Executive Chef at Elk Ridge, said that they could accommodate our group on such short notice. (Less than 90 minutes of notice!)
It's no easy feat getting a large group in somewhere last minute. August took time to connect with us, and he was awesome. We had one person in our group with very special dietary needs. There was nothing on the menu that would work for her, but August went into the kitchen and looked at what he had available and provided her a perfect lunch for her needs. She was so impressed!
