For the first time, my kid only went to two classes but had to pull out from the 7-class course due to emergencies and I apologized hoping they could forgive us and arrange for a credit towards the future classes. All I got is a cold “no” per policy. What kind of business model is that? I don’t feel respected and any mutual understanding. Will never recommend and go back no more.
See owner's response below which showed that it is all about money they care about (not the kids, not the education!). We did not know there would be a conflict when we signed up for the class and most businesses would be okay with one time exception since it was truly an accident. The homework emails are not helpful without the class, btw.
In their email, it also says "this is no different than if you go to a movie theater and leave before the movie ends" which I find the analogy unethical, inappropriate. A better one would be if people buy a 7-pack movie serials and only get to finish the first two, what would happen to the rest five? Yes, we would get a refund or choose to watch other movies instead.
Thanks for removing my email from the list, owner!
Outstanding services and value! Our middle school student is learning advanced mathematics with Kateryna over multiple years. Thanks to Kateryna's devotion and support they built a really unique relationship that helped us to be ahead of the HiCap classes' program and always get As. The critical part of this success was that these flexible maths classes are really interesting to the student (even during remote lessons with COVID lockdowns) thanks to the coach - thank you very much, Kateryna!
