The front desk lady was so rude to the patients, claimed she didn't remember writing down her appointment yelling she told them they would have to reschedule. All the lady wanted was her 8 year old son to get his allergy medication. Forgot to mention the patient traveled from Long Beach to Down Town LA on 3 busses and a train. Do your self a favor request a different clinic!!!

I was very disappointed by my experience at Dr. Ashida's office. I went to her office because I started breaking out all over my face after eating certain foods and my primary doctor sent me over to her. I told her deep down I felt that I had food allergies but I'm just not sure what foods are making me break out. Immediately Dr. Ashida disregarded my symptoms and assertions and told me it was just acne. I tried to explain to her I've never had acne before and I truly feel it's due to something I'm eating and she continued to ignore me. I showed her pictures of my face and skin and she just ignored me and then told me to go see a dermatologist. My appointment with her lasted just a couple minutes. It was like she didn't believe me or care. After I left her office I went back to my primary doctor who decided to give me a basic food allergy test in her office and the results came back that I was highly allergic to wheat, casein, hazelnuts, peanuts, and soy! All allergies I had no idea I had and was eating food that contained them all. All allergies that can result in skin break outs. While I am happy that I found out the truth I am disgusted that a food allergist didn't even take the time to figure out what was wrong. She made me feel like my skin problem was not important. As a black woman it's hard to find good doctor's that care and don't ignore you when you tell them your symptoms and unfortunately Dr. Ashida is one of them. Don't come here especially as a black woman, because you most likely will be ignored.
