Odd design. Why not put a spin bike or two upstairs versus the always vacant recumbent bikes?
The locker room needs better ventilation, and a steam room would have been wise to also install.
Only here because it’s the closest option to home. Also, not the gyms fault but the parking garage has horrendously small parking spots.
I joined ECA pretty recently and I've really enjoyed having a gym membership here. There's a wide range of machines that you can use, lots of racks, treadmills/ellipticals, you name it. They make it so easy to switch up your routine if you get bored of your current one. I love how they have an abundance of different types of equipment, from foam rollers to stretchy bands to jump ropes etc.
On days where I feel down, I am instantly lightened when I go to the gym and see how enthusiastic the staff are in welcoming me as I check in. Their energy is so contagious. When Phil first showed me around the gym, he was very friendly and attentive to the type of routines that I liked to do. He pointed out machines that would go well with my routine and gave me suggestions on different types of equipment I could use. I could tell that he genuinely cared about my well being and goals. This was a nice personal touch that other gyms didn't do during their walkaround tours.
I also tried a few personal training sessions with Melissa and I feel such a huge difference already. I can tell she really cares about me and my growth and that she's not just out here to get my money. She gives me great pointers and keeps an eye on me to make sure I'm doing my exercises correctly.
ECA is a wonderful gym to get a membership at and I would recommend it to anyone looking to get some gains and feel good about themselves. Definitely give this gym a shot if you're shopping around for a new gym!
