I’ve been coming to Emerald City Spinal Care for about 3 months now, initially for chronic low back pain that prevented me from doing hobbies that I love and severely inhibited my work functions.
At 3 months, I can say things are feeling drastically better and my quality of life has significantly improved. I’m back to enjoying hobbies like running, hiking, and camping with just mild discomfort which is way better than the severe pain I had prior to treatment. It was a slow and steady process but Dr. Van was super transparent and reassuring about the process and how it would look like so I knew what to expect and to be patient, which feels totally worth it now. I’m only halfway through of my treatment plan so I’m looking forward to seeing how the second half goes!
Also - everyone in this office is super nice and friendly. The space is so clean and comforting with waterfall sounds and a citrusy scent filling the office.
Highly recommend!
I’ve been visiting Emerald City Spinal Center since January this year, and my shoulder and back pain caused by remote work has greatly improved. Dr. Van, Mary, and the entire staff are incredibly kind and caring. I initially discovered the clinic through social media. I contacted the admin to discuss the care options, costs, and what insurances they accepted.
I decided to book my first appointment, where Dr. Van guided me through a series of tests and x-rays and asked about my goals for the treatment. She explained how the tests would help create a personalized treatment plan. Also, she ensured I felt comfortable and informed throughout the process. At the end of the session, Dr. Van proposed a treatment plan and provided cost options, including the choice to pay in full or in installments.
My treatment included gentle adjustments and stretches. I started with adjustments twice a week, eventually moving to every other week. Since beginning my treatment, my shoulders and back feel significantly better than when I started!
